Malena Henderson's Notes On:

Closing Session

GrowthDay 2025

What started as a great way to get "aligned" with life, business, and relationships, my husband Matt and I purchased tickets the moment they went on sale.

Unfortunately, Matt and our dog Marty ended up not being able to make the trip. So, this became a solo adventure for me into the unbelievable world of GrowthDay!

These are my personal notes from the event. I am not associated with Brendon Burchard, GrowthDay or Ultra. Any links on this site are affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you use them to purchase any product.

Energy and Activation

  • Learn how to label our emotions and focus on the positive ones vs. negative ones

  • When we leave here, we can "summon” our best energy

  • Summon the best of who you are - name it, claim it, and activate it. Just a few minutes each day

  • Exercise - Name your energy/vibe

    • Hand on heart

    • Give this feeling a name, own it

    • Activate on it once in a while - if you have a word for it, you can summon it anytime!

  • 10 more minutes daily compounds into days/weeks/months, etc

Review of Core Concepts

The VOID

  • Think of this image to realize when we’re going into the “pit”

  • Need to realize when there’s too many months or years of plateauing b/c we’re just trying to get back out, or back to our baseline

  • Need to aim higher, “level up” that ambition, level up that aim - this creates an upward ascension trajectory

FADE

  • When we start to feel stuck, know that we’re fading

  • Must condition our mind and body for the level of service we want to give - level of life we want to live

  • Big ambition = big energy

Two Jobs

  • #1 alignment, connect, meaning and growth; study mental edge, study longevity, study leadership & wealth building

  • #2 inspire people, lead by example; happy people inspire others

Director vs. Character

  • Be the director of your life, not the character sitting on the couch watching Netflix

  • We can’t control all of the scenes but we can control our reactions in the moment

Strategies

Done By One

  • Priorities/tasks that move the needle done by one

  • When we finish main things more often, we become happier

Stay In Play Motion

  • Fell down? Don’t get discouraged, get curious

  • Don’t need to know the whole field, just get in the game; don’t sideline self b/c waiting to learn everything

  • More often we do this our confidence comes back and we recognize when “EGO” kicks in
